Welcome to ZANDR.
I ask my photography to be both transcendent and grounded, candid, yet precise, calculated and simultaneously blind. For this, I demand the highest standard. Photography, at best, is not a skill; it's an act of devotion. I see archetypes, chimaeras of potential; a pure intuition, latent with the force of countless nights asking: What is beauty?
I am one with those who understand that the best photographs happen in the margins, between poses, after the timer stops, when you forget the camera. I call this quest for mystery, for magic: chasing the black dove.
Chasing the black dove is an act of love. It lives equally in the simplicity of a spotlight and the pout of a stranger. I couldn't care less about contracts or copyright, but for what your scene asks, and how you want to let it surface.
